Inspired by Hiroshige Utagawa - "Tsuki no misaki"
Inspired by Hiroshige's "Cape of the Moon," No.82 from "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo," the same composition depicts the fictional "Crown," a game center in Aso Juban that appears in the "Sailor Moon" story. Luna, the cat from Sailor Moon, is depicted behind the door, and the title of the work is a play on the name of Usagi Tsukino, the main character in Sailor Moon.
Hiroshige painted Shinagawa, not the plateau in Minato Ward, which was called "Moon Cape" at the time. This work depicts the "Cape of the Moon" once again as Minato Ward.
