Inspired by Hiroshige Utagawa
The title means "Azumabashi (more) (distant view) Sumida River (and) (Metropolitan Expressway) Mukojima Line (facing)". Inspired by Hiroshige's "Azumabashi Kinryuyama distant view", No.39 from "One Hundred Famous Views of Edo", this work faces the west from the opposite bank of the Sumida River in the opposite direction of Hiroshige's composition. By drawing in this way, it is possible to draw the Metropolitan Expressway and the Tokyo Sky Tree, which were not in the Hiroshige era, while focusing on the Sumida River.
